We can consciously control the firing of a single neuron in our brain – new study finds

In a new study published in Nature patients with epilepsy had electrodes planted into their brain to help locate the starting point of their seizures. The study found that these people could consciously control the firing of individual neurons with their thoughts, even with distracting stimuli. To get the full picture check out the link.
