Surfing waves might help your brain health

Research points to that 30 minutes of surfing increased positivity and tranquility. Additionally, fatigue and negativity decreased. I think this research is valid, but I also wonder if the same results would be found if you surveyed other group of people after they just finished their chosen recreational sport: running, softball, skiing, rock climbing, triathlon, soccer, etc. The take home message is if you want to improve your brain and outlook on life make sure you participate in your favourite recreational sport(s). Get out there and enjoy yourself – become more tranquil and positive – plus you get the bonus of exercise.
