Should you eat a big breakfast if you are trying to lose weight ?

Many of you might be trying to lose weight and we know for optimal brain health you do not want to be overweight.

Is the old advice that eating a big breakfast will you lose weight true?

“the results of the study showed that people ate the same at lunch and dinner, regardless of what they had for breakfast”, this means that a big breakfast (on average 400kcal greater than a small breakfast) resulted in a total increase in calories eaten over the day of about 400kcal. 

And hence it is not a good idea to eat a bigger than normal breakfast if you are trying to lose weight according to this study.
